Playing Hard: Labor and Leisure in Jackson Hole
Jackson Hole is a land of contradictions — one person’s work can be another person’s play. The exhibition “Playing Hard: Labor and Leisure in Jackson Hole” explores this concept. Work and play have changed over the last one hundred years as the valley grew from an isolated self-sustained no man’s land to the nation’s natural playground. From extreme athletes to tourists to innovators, many have felt drawn to Jackson Hole and many of those have been compelled to make a life worth living here.
