Visit in-person at our Museum Hallway Gallery
The exhibit “Wyoming Women” from the University of Wyoming’s American Heritage Center highlights 30 framed, historical photos of Wyoming women in leadership roles in the outdoors and their communities. The women were caught on camera pursuing activities ranging from horseback riding and gardening to participating in civic duties and academic studies. It includes notable figures like Mary O’Hara the author of “My Friend Flicka,” the first registered nurse in Jackson Hole, and women from around the state.
